What is Rapid Release Technology?

Its professional-grade device, Rapid Release PRO 3, works quite differently from percussive devices such as Hypervolt and Theragun.   So, medical professionals use it to work on dense tissues like knots, ligaments and tendons.

The Rapid Release™ Pro 3 is an FDA registered, class 1 medical device that runs at 10,000 RPM or VPM (vibration per minute) and each stroke is very short at about 1.7 mm in length.   A typical percussive device is said to run between 2,500-3,500 RPM, and it could feel bumpy and uncomfortable on your bones.   By comparison, RRT is designed to go over bony areas, ligaments and tendon attachments, in addition to the muscle bellies.  In this video, you can see how differently this vibrational device and percussive devices move.  It works at the frequency of approximately 150 MHz, which is the frequency that dense soft tissues such as tight muscles, tendons & ligaments are known to respond well.
